The boys love putting up our artificial Christmas tree, so we waited for them to help, making this officially the latest in December I've ever put up a tree. An emergency trip to Target to replace the burnt-out tree lights later, we had our tree decorated.
I love our colorful miss-mash and especially the plastic stars ornaments and the little disco balls:
The rest of the place already had little vignettes of Christmas spirit, and all day we've been drinking coffee with eggnog and listening to holiday music.
And, of course, our tiny blue tree:
Tonight we'll have some cake and ice cream to celebrate (late) my birthday and then watch Independence Day on the new blu-ray player (hubby's (early) Christmas present)!
